Rainald and I have been involved in one form or another of doing this sort of thing since the mid-80s back when CompuServe Forums were the king. Things have certainly changed since then, but the concept is the same: open, public discussion groups where support is provided not only by Microsoft (in this case), but also by those who give of their time and knowledge to help others.
