I need to do a scatter graph which shows body mass on one axis and stature on
the the other and then do a trend line through for male and female. Can
anyone tell me how to do this?

Presumably you want Height on the horizontal axis and Weight on the
vertical. Put the appropriate data in these columns:

A: Male Height
B: Male Weight
C: Female Height
D: Female Weight

Select A and B and create an XY chart. Select C and D, copy, select the
chart, Paste Special, add new series, categories (X values) in first column.
This gives you two sets of points in the chart. Right click on one series,
choose Add Trendline, and select the appropriate options. Repeat to put a
trendline on the other axis.
