The Section Groups feature allows you to group sections under their own heading or category. It allows sub-tiering of sections and is a great feature, especially when the notebook is complicated and has many sections. When you click the grouped section tab it will open up a whole other row of sections. You can also make section groups within that level of sections too, and so on, like an outline structure.
You can drag and drop existing sections into a section group tab. Or create new sections from within the section group tab.
Yes, they always show up on the right. Having them on the left would have made a little more sense since they are the "higher level" of the notebook structure, but it is not a big deal.
