Cannot get BCM to install with Office 2007 trial
csfy 1/28/2007 1:48:01 AM
I lost BCM when I install the Office 2007 trial version which I want to keep.
I am using MOA 2007 Professional. I have removed Office 2007 Professional
and the download2 which includes MOA. Cleared my temp files and
re-installed, but at the end of the install I get a report that BCM did not
install period. When I use the X113-40150.exe again I only have the option
to remove everything on CD2, the first two options, Add and Reinstall, are
greyed out.
Can anyone help?

I have now received my action pack and have Office Enterprise 2007 installed.
All Office 2003 has been uninstalled. Still no BCM. I tried to install
from the DVD that included Outlook with BCM and had the option to remove or
repair. I tried repair first. That stalled and reported that the repair had
failed. Now I am trying the remove option. Then I will restart the computer
and finally try to install again.

Still no BCM. The repair ends with BCM was not installed. Can't seem to
get any help. I guess I will look elsewhere for product for my customers.

I now have BCM installed, but I changed 2 things so I am not sure which
corrected the problem. First, I exported then deleted this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Business Solutions eCRM. Second, I
installed .NET Framework 3.0. I suspect the solution is the first one, but
just in case I thought I should list the second one also.
