Set-up of Microsoft Office 2007
Peter Humphrey 4/12/2007 7:04:02 PM
Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):

The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a
prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first
uninstall any prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system
products and associated technologies.

Sorry guys. I meant 2003, not 2007. I have just got 2007 and uninstalled
2003. What compinents do i have to remove other that that? Can you give me an
idea. Would Outlook be the one to uninstall?

Did you check in Add\Remove for Off2003 remnants. What version of Office 2007 are you trying to install. . Do you still have Outlook 2003 installed on the computer. Did you save your pst files? So many variables that you need to post and explain, including the exact error message generated

I think i do have Microsoft Outlook still installed. When i go to My Computer
and under Local Disk (c) and then program files, i see it but cant delete it
because it says it is in use when i have no programs open that could be using
it, or at least i think so. The only error message is what i put in my first
post.
