Word documents now in wordpad
Johnathan C 12/27/2008 4:16:01 PM
Used Wordpad to open a Word file that Word said was unopenable.
Wordpad opened the file, copied text I wanted from the file and saved as a
Word file
Now all Word files are Wordpad.

How do I reconvert to Word
Tried reconversion winword /r and using explorer as suggested in other posts
still showing all files as Wordpad.

What do I try next?

It wasn't "converted". It sounds like your file associations got messed up.
