Can someone please confirm I am on the right track here? Prowrite is not installing with Vista and outlook 2007. I am reaching the conclusion I can manage my snail mail out of Outlook 2007 almost the same way I did with Prowrite. I manage properties and years ago I set up custom screens and custom fields for stuff like amount of deposit, legal description, move in date, etc. When I wrote a lease I filled in that screen, took less than 2 minutes, then opened the doc from the lease template and bingo I was done. I open word once a month but several times a day I create snail mail correspondence from outlook. Just click on the contact and open a template and a late notice would surface with the late fee, the rent amount. Lots of people correspond with tenants out of property mgmt software but I use Outlook because 10 fields and notes download to my pda and I always have phone #'s and some notes with me. I am ten hours into reading tutorials and can't find one with exact instructions on just how to mail merge snail mail with custom fields out of Outlook 2007 so I am creeping along one step at a time. I work from Outlook not Word and want to keep it that way. Will someone pleae confirm I am on the right track here?
