How to tell if document needs to be saved
Robert T 11/19/2008 12:12:08 AM
I come from many years of using Wordperfect and am used to see the "modified"
in the title line of a document indicating it needs to be saved. Is there
such an indication in Word 2007.

No, but Word will not save a document if it doesn't need saving (even if you
click the Save icon or press Ctrl+S, it just does nothing), so it doesn't
hurt to just save frequently. Many of us do, however, wish that there were
some clean/dirty indication in Word.

Thanks Suzanne. I did not see it but thought I might have missed it. Yes - I
would like to have the clean/dirty indicator.
