Word 2007: question on Normal template
"Daniel" <notmyrealaddress[ at ]free.fr> 11/25/2008 7:48:23 PM
Hi everyone,

My question concerns Word 2007. I created quite a few macros which, I
presume, are stored in a Normal template? Or somewhere else?

I would like to save this template or whatever file, to be able to restore
it and all my macros should a problem occur.

Where can I find these files?

many thks in adavnce for your kind help.
Best rgds,
Daniel

Unless you chose another location, they're stored in Normal.dotm, which you
can find with Windows Search, but be aware that it's in a hidden folder, so
you have to specify that you want to search hidden and system files and
folders.

No. The situation, IIRC, is that it is a "known issue" but not regarded as a
bug but rather "by design."

I saw a demo of Windows 7 with Office and briefly in passing (Steven
Sinofsky) mentioned that the preview pane works as now. I hope that wasn't
true!
