BCM 2003 over the Internet?
derm2 6/18/2007 7:55:00 PM
I have tried sharing BCM 2003 over the Internet similarly to the way BCM 2007
works, but BCM 2003 says he can't see the remote computer (even though i can
ping it, and connect to the database with SQL Server management studio).

The database is on a server running SQL Express, created by BCM's .sql
files. Port 5356 for BCM, and posts 137-139 for NetBIOS are all opren. I have
tried using SQL server authentication. The BCM version is BCM 2003 Update SP2.

What could be the problem? Or can BCM 2003 even do this?

I thought in BCM v2/2003 the port number was 56183.
