SEQ field cannot be used in header? Peter 12/19/2008 3:16:07 PM I get an error message (Error! Main Document Only.) when trying to use a SEQ field in a header or footer. I have an appendix to a document that I wanted page numbered separately from the main document. Is there a work-around?

I just wanted to add that you *can* insert SEQ fields in the header (or footer), but only with the \c switch which repeats the current SEQ number in the text.
