Cannot install BCM
oag 10/5/2008 6:46:01 PM
Hello,
I am using Microsoft Office 2007 for Small Business. I really loved using
BCM. I a
I then tried to install Microsoft Accounting professional. Seems that
everything went wrong after that. First of all, I could not load my computer
in a normal mode and had to use Same mode and spet a few hours on the phone
with Microsoft support.
My BCM did not work also.
Miscrosoft advised to uninstall BCM and Microsoft SQL server 2005. I tried
to do that but turned out that I could not do it through the ADD and Remove
programms. Then Microsoft guided me through the manual uninstallation using
Microsoft Clean up utility and cleaning up registry.
I then re-installed Microsoft Net. Framework 2.0, but I do not have
Microsoft SQL server 2005.
I understood though that BCM requires to have SQL.
I am just very confused now... but really need to have BCM back.
The main problem now is that every time I try to start BCM installation from
my CD 2, I get the same message that states that BCM Setup wizard has a
problem and needs to close.
Does anyone had the same issue?
I would uppreciate any help.
Thank you in advance!

The Setup wizard does require .NET, so something about the .NET
installation may be the problem. Setup should install SQL if it is not
already present on the machine.
