Now that my typos in this post have confused everyone and I have had a chance to play, let's try that again....
Grant's post got me wondering. If you save the 2007 file as an MHT and send that, will it be handled better? The answer is: Kind of. Save the doc as an MHT file in 2007. Open that file in IE and copy and paste each page to 2003. The formatting comes out a little better (which is why I suggested it in the first place), but other than that it doesn't save you much.
If you don't need to edit the notes, I would have your friends save the sections as a PDF and send you that. You can do that by downloading the free Save As PDF add-in for Office 2007 from Microsoft at: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/onenote/HA100649921033.aspx -- Kathy Jacobs, Microsoft MVP OneNote and PowerPoint Author of Kathy Jacobs on PowerPoint Get PowerPoint and OneNote information at www.onppt.com
