Word 2007 migration woes
Allen_N 12/22/2008 3:24:00 AM
Does anyone know of a lookup table that maps the changes between 2003
settings/menus and those of 2007 ?

I wanted to disable "automatically update document styles", and it took me
half an hour to find it (under the 'Developer' tab, for God's sake !) Word
2007 'Help' returned numerous search results that did not contain all the
search phrases; I had to follow links within the pages it returned, finally
getting the anwser from a user comment at the end of a page.

In fact, 2007 'Help' is the most useless version of Office Help ever. What
happened to context-sensitivity?

If I've overlooked something obvious please feel free to chastise me, but
Word 2007 feels more like sabotage than productivity enhancement.
