How do I back up my tags?
K.R. 10/4/2008 3:53:00 AM
I had to restore at one point and lost all of my many tags (which I was using
to group chunks of my inverviews for my Masters). I'd like to back up my tags
seperatly in the future but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.

How do I do so?

They are stored in preferences.dat, which on my vista computer is in
C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\OneNote\12.0. As long as you make no
modifications to your settings after migrating to a new computer (or backing
up an old computer), you should be able to restore this file with no problems.
