BCM Backup or Export joey022461 6/18/2007 7:04:01 PM Which is better to use, backup or export? Does one save more info than the other (like categories?) or does it not make a difference which to use? Exporting seems to take a lot longer than backup, probably because it is not being compressed?

I imported from the Export (*.bcm) file and all came in successfully. However, a BCM import will create some Outlook items. Import creates Outlook appointments for future meetings. If reminders are stored in Outlook and tracked in BCM, then an import may create them in Outlook. Export takes longer because it is writing an XML text file.
