Hi Ingalou,
Can you ping the computer you want to connect to? If so, are the IP address of both machines in the same subnet? By default, bcm creates an exception in the windows firewall for out sql port. This exception only effective for computers in the a subnet of 255.255.255.x. You can change this value in the widnows firewall if your second computer lies outside of this range, bcm won't beable to connect to it.
