I'm running XP Pro with a gig of memory. I tried OneNote 2007 and had constant problems. I have Office 2003 and OneNote 2003 should work better, I hope. I specifically didn't want WORD 2007. It is too bad you couldn't adjust to OneNote 2007. Much as I loved OneNote 2003, 2007 is even better. Showing it off always causes jaws to drop. OneNote slowed and sometimes froze my screen. The cursor changed color and the hourglass grew quite large and black. This is when I was NOT intentionally running the program. It seemed reasonably fast when running it. And--OneNote 2003 is doing exactly the same thing. I seem to be all right if it isn't running in the background, i.e., on startup. Whatever the problem is, it goes away after I uninstall OneNote. I expect that will be next. It has to be an anomaly with my system. It is a nifty program and I really wanted to use it.
