I tried installing Office 2007 Pro Trial Edition (twice) and I am unable to find the main event, Outlook 2007.
All of the rest, Excel, Word 2007 appear to be there.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Bill,
If you have the Office 2007 Home & Student Edition trial, it comes with OneNote in place of Outlook.
If you have any other trial edition and you have an older version of Office installed you'll need to go to Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel, select that Microsoft Office product and set the prior Outlook version to 'Not Available' before you can change the Office 2007 Outlook feature to 'run from my PC' state. Only one edition of Outlook can be available.
The retail editions do the upgrade by default. The trial editions, recognizing that you haven't committed to the upgrade yet, leave the older versions intact.
