Installing MS-Office 2000 rn5a[ at ]rediffmail.com 4/23/2007 9:23:01 AM Since last 14 hours I've been trying to install MS-Office 2K in my WinXP Pro m/c. but MS-Office just refuses to install. Whenever the installation progresses a bit, errors get generated saying this file doesn't exist in the installation CD or that file doesn't exist in the installation CD though I am more than 100% sure that the file exists in the installation CD since this isn't the first time I am installing MS-Office 2K in my WinXP Pro m/c! I even tried installing the different components like MS-Word, MS- Access, MS-Excel separately but that doesn't resolve the problem. Can someone please guide me how do I install MS-Office 2K in my WinXP m/c? On previous occasions, the same error used to come up intermittently but today the error is coming up after every 3-4 minutes. Also more than often, the error points to the same file again & again today.
