I am trying to install the copy of Office XP Professional that I own on my

Hi JoAnn,
I have a similar problem
I bought a new computer a few months ago which had a small business trial
version of MS office 2003 on it. The trial ran out so I tried to buy a new
one. I am a student, so I chose the student teacher version. (And I like the
note taking feature.) All went well in the buying, but when I tried to put
the product key in, it was rejected. It says, "You have not entered a valid
product key."
What have I done wrong. The trouble is that if I have the wrong product,
they already have my money and I have to have this one or lose about $150
bucks.
Yikes.

Did you uninstall the trial version first?
