open db without access
tracktraining 11/13/2008 11:01:01 PM
Hi All,

Is there a way for any user to open a db without MS Access installed? I want
to distribute my db (.MDE) to other users but they don't have MS Access
installed on their PC.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Tracktraining

Which version of Access is the .MDE created in? If you are using Access
2007, you can download a Runtime version from Microsoft at no charge.
Earlier versions of Access have runtime versions, but they cost.
