Hi Mark,
Hide the cells and then protect the worksheet

Mark

You cannot hide individual cells.

Rows and columns, yes.

Then protect the sheet with a password, which is very easy to crack.

You can hide the contents of cells and what is seen in the Formula Bar.

To hide cell contents, custom format to ;;;

To hide formula bar contents, format to "locked" and "hidden" then protect
the sheet with the easily-cracked password.
