Even though Microsoft considers the rules and grids to be merely guidelines for TabletPC users and their handwriting, it seems to me from the volume of requests that they might consider this sort of thing for the next release. I don't have the luxury of having a TabletPC system (mainly because Dell hasn't chosen to make one, and I'm not thrilled with the other offerings I've seen so far), so my notes are all typed rather than hand-written, but I still would like to have my typed text conform to the rule/grid lines on the background, if nothing more than for the "coolness" factor.
