My laptop has started to run slowly and freezes whilst in the middle of doing
mundane tasks like printing docs from MS Word, Adobe Acrobat (pdf). I
usually only have 1 or 2 programs open at any time but when it freezes and I
check the Task Manager, it shows MS One Note 2003 as running. I have never
used this program (I use Outlook 2003 - I don't know if they're related) but
it even shows up when nothing else is running. Why is this appearing (I've
never noticed it before) and is it the reason that my laptop has suddenly
started to freeze?
I'm running Windows XP, Office 2003 (a licence version purchased direct from
MS using a company discount program) and I use a wireless connection for
email/internet, though I use a USB cable to print rather than use wireless
network.
