Windows scrolling does not work
"Charles Leung" <charles[ at ]NOSPAM.com> 2/23/2007 2:52:55 PM

I installed Outlook 2007 and Office 2007 Home and Student edition lately on
my ThinkPad running on XP Pro SP2. Somehow I found that windows scrolling
does not work in some office programs:

1. Excel: horizontal -- yes; vertical -- yes

2. PowerPoint: horizontal -- no; vertical -- no

3. Word: horizontal -- no; vertical -- no

4. OneNote: horizontal -- yes; vertical -- yes

5. Outlook: message pane (vertical -- yes); mail folders on the left
(vertical -- no)

It is so strange that the scrolling works with an external mouse, but not
work with touch pad and track point mouse in ThinkPad. Does anyone have a
clue to fix it? Outlook and Word are the software that I use a lot in my
study. The "malfunction" introduces incovenience.

Thanks.

I have the same problem on my Lenovo T60p I installed the Office 2007 package
from our MSDN DVDs. Are we the only two having the problem?
