Can I delete multiple completed "to do" tagged items at once?

I have a large number of "to do" tagged items that are completed. I'd like
to delete them all at once, rather than ctrl-clicking them one at a time.

Is there any way to do that?

Yes, assuming you're talking about the to-do flag rather than the
Outlook task flag.

Select all of them, then click the to-do tag again. That will toggle
them to the next stage, which is the checked to-do tag. Doing it
again removes the tag entirely.

If you're talking about the Outlook task flag, that's a different
matter. You'll need to go into Outlook, select them all, then
right-click and select "Mark Completed" (if that option is available
-- I don't know offhand and am not in a position to try it right now).
