Outlook 2003 Add-in Creation
Jerome TX 11/3/2008 2:48:01 PM
Hello All,

I truly hope I am in correct area.

Here is my situation; I am a Systems Developer working in a LAMP environment
developing Service Offerings.

I have created a batch file that points to an Internet Facing Service that I
manage created a toolbar and added the hyperlink to the batch file. I need
to know is it possible to put this entire process + batch file into a Com Add
In or Add In for my outlook clients so all they have to do is to load the Add
In and the toolbar and link is created. If this is possible could someone
give me a starting point of what needs to be done or point me to a site that
can assist me.

Thank you in advance,

Happy Birthday Devil Dogs 11/10 USMC

I'm not familiar with LAMP, but if it can create a COM addin and use Outlook
automation then you can do what you want.

You can look at the information on Outlook COM addins at
www.outlookcode.com, but you won't find any :LAMP examples there.
