To make it useful you would probably want access to your local Vista Disk drive (Virtual PC creates its own C: drive for the guest operating system within a hard disk file on your real disk drive and normally you can't get at the Vista C: drive and any other partitions without adding it in the options), So give access to one or more of your real drives. That way you could run Office 97 in Say Windows 2000 running in a Virtual PC and have access to one of you real Vista drives so that you can copy files between to the two operating systems.
