Here maybe is a starting point:
Open Task Manager (ctl-alt-del) and check your Processes Tab. You might be surprised to discover certain processes consuming vast resources. Do not be tempted to end process until you investigate each process and why it's consuming resources.
Tip: Copy the name of the resource and Google it for solutions.
