Office 2000 toolbar - how do I get rid of it?
bobbiev 5/30/2007 6:23:00 PM
I just installed Office 2000 and it put a toolbar on my desktop. I do not
want this toolbar. How do I get it to go away forever?

Thanks, Bobbie

It's been a long time since I used Office 2000 but I seem to remember a
setting in the toolbar if you right-click on it where you can choose to run
it each time Windows starts or not. Or, look in your Startup folder (make
sure to check both) for an entry that you can just delete. Or, run MSCONFIG
and look in the Startup tab for an Office toolbar entry that can be
un-checked. Any one of those three should do the trick for you.
