thanks for this but it doesn't do exactly what I want - but I could do in OneNote 2003. The key word in my posting was 'toggle'. I have put the command on my toolbar (as you suggested) but if you use it to remove the page title - it removes it permanently - thus removing the page name in the Pages area to the right. I want the name to stay there but disappear from the Page itself. I then want a facility to bring it back (on the actual page I mean) at the touch of a button. I suppose I am talking about hiding it - not deleting it altogether.
All this you could do easily in the previous version. I think when developers remove something that was in previous versions, they should tell us so we don't go on struggling!!
I guess I'll just have to live with the title being on the page - mainly because of the page titles on the right.
