Buying BCM 2007
Frank 5/24/2007 10:38:48 PM
We decided to take the plunge and move from Act to Outlook/BCM. I thought
BCM was now part of Outlook and purchased several copies of the standalone
Outlook 2007 from Amazon. I now find that BCM does not appear to be a part
of Outlook but only comes with certain of the Office versions.

Ok, any suggestions on;

(i) Which versions of office have BCM and does that include the upgrade
versions? The website is confusing at best.
(ii) How we can either get BCM for just Outlook 2007 or our money back for
opened software so we can buy the Office versions?

(Oh and one note for MSFT marketing, the tactic of including BCM with some
Office versions and not others and not including it with the standalone
version of Outlook is pretty crappy.)

Thanks

My understanding is that BCM is available with: Office Small Business
Edition and Office Professional, and also downloadable from MSDE (for
developers) and TechNet (for enterprise licenses).

I agree the situation is confusing. Things were easier with 2003, when
anyone could download BCM and it would work with any version of
Outlook.
