Task Notification?

I was wondering if when tasks are assigned to "users" in BCM, is there any
kind of notification that can be turned on? We are attempting to try this
product with our attorneys/Marketing department. I realize that the task
will show up in the individual's list and they'll be able to access it from
the BCM project section but we know the attorneys will not want to go
directly into BCM. Many of them have a lot of tasks so a new one slipping in
there will probably go unnoticed. Is there a way to send an email
notification when a new task is assigned?

Thanks!

To automatically send an email on creating a task you'll have to write
a macro that gets triggered when there's a new task event. There's a
wizard in Outlook that will create some custom actions - I use it to
route emails to particular folder when a new email arrives. You can
see if the wizard lets you do run a custom action on creating a new
Task.
