OneNote 2007 trial Activation
BretPatrick 1/26/2007 11:57:11 PM
I have downloaded and installed the trial version of OneNote 2007. Each time
I try to activate the trial version it gives me an error message that says "A
communication error has occurred. Your request cannot be completed at this
time. Please try again later."
I have downloaded and activated the Office 2007 trial without a problem. It
does not give me an option to activate by phone. I have also removed the
application and re-installed without any success.
Please help!!

Somebody is bound to ask it...do you have an active internet connection?
Also, did you ever have a beta version of office installed at any
point? If so, check this out: http://pschmid.net/blog/2006/11/13/80

Honestly, I've never heard of this error...Do you have any more history
for us?

:-)
Yes, I have an active Internet connection on this computer. I have never
installed the Beta version. I have a current ON 2003 on the computer.
It is just weird that I could activate the entire office trial but this
trial of 2007 doesn't.
I suppose I could just buy it. I am a certified teacher working for Chicago
Public Schools and I am going to a university for an advanced degree; I
wonder if I can buy an academic key online.
Thanks, Erik~

Erik~
No more history to report. Just several of the same error messages. I think
I have exhausted all of my resources. I'll have to get the media.
Thanks,
Bret Patrick

Actually I've been having the same exact problem, and as I've been
googling, so have about a zillion other people. I haven't found a
solution yet.
