Outlook Business Contact Manager failed to load error
Trish 4/5/2007 4:42:00 PM
I have a user that is receiving the below error after downloading the trail
copy of Office 2007 and Business Contact Manger 2007

Business Contact manager failed to load:
[Method 'GetFormRegionManifest' in type
'Microsoft.BusinessSolutions.eCRM.OutlookAddIn.Connect' from assembly
'Microsoft.BusinessSolutions.eCRM.OutlookAddIn, Version=3.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' does not have an
implementation.]

He is on a XP computer with .NET upgraded to 3.0 and connected to a Small
Business Exchange server 2003. I also tried configuring a POP account profile
but got the same error. I have tried removing and reinstalling (no errors
during install) with the same result. I also checked to see if the old
version of BCM was still installed and was unable to find any part of it.
Confirmed that it was not a disabled add in. The user wanted to check out if
the 2007 would work before purchasing for the company so I would like to see
if I can get this working. Does anyone have any suggestions to try?

I can see from some other Posts that he may not have downloaded the correct
version I will have him uninstall Office and BCM and try downloading the
newest Trial

You will see this warning if using Beta release of BCM with final release of
Office. You will have to uninstall older version of BCM and reinstall newer.
