Require only default Spell Checker Language to be
English Australian

Throughout the Office 2007 Suite
It keeps Spell Checking
using English US most of the time

The only language I want to spell check against is
English Australian

Hi Grant,

There aren't separate proofing tools for the various English language flavors. What Word uses can depend on a lot of things and
can be overridden by even a single character attribute within a document.

In general, the information here still applies to Office 2007 except for the location of the Word settings within Word 2007 (Alt, T,
O)

Keyboard Settings Solved My Problem

In keyboard settings I had
English US
then
English Australian

I deleted English US
And now
All my Office 2007 on Vista products
are checking against
English Australian
