Last 2 digits of Office 2000 Product Key
jldcat 4/11/2007 5:32:01 PM
I recently had to purchase a new computer as my old one blew. I am trying to
install my Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Academic Edition but the last 2
digits/letters of the product key are obscured (label has been ripped)

I have the first 23 letters and numbers plus I have the CD SET number and
the confirmation number. How frustrating it is to just need 2 digits? Very!!

Is there any way to find the last 2 digits? Maybe if someone can tell me
that the last two are letters or numbers or a letter and a number I could
just keep trying?

Microsoft may be able to help you if you call them.
In the United States at (800) 360-7561, Monday - Friday, 5:00 A.M. - 7:00
P.M. Pacific time zone.

It's worth a shot. (I am assuming you live in the US only because you didn't
state otherwise.)

Actually I live in Canada, should have mentioned that I guess. I searched
under customer service on the microsoft website and it said that I would have
to pay $49US for a call. Is that the case?
