Hi Parker, Doug is right on with everything he said, unfortunately the reality is that laser and inkjet printing is not an exact science. Our customers at http://www.onlinelabels.com run into this problem occasionally when they try to print to close to the edge of the label, or try to use a background color. If you cannot get MS Word to work for you, then I suggest trying our Maestro Label Designer http://www.onlinelabels.com/maestro .. Maestro will give you the flexibility you need to move text and images on the template freely. It should take a couple of test prints and a little bit of tweaking.
Hopefully this information will help, and please feel free to email or call us with any questions.
Thanks,
Matt Hamilton OnlineLabels.com
