Merging contact databases
DLT 6/12/2007 12:59:02 AM
My BCM is a mess after changing jobs three times. I want to combine (merge)
three different databases into one big one. Can I do that and how. Could it
identify duplicates?

I do not know if there is an easier way but you could drag the BCM contacts
into an Outlook contact folder. Each time that you add to the Outlook
folder, Outlook will let you know if it is a duplicate (depending on your
version of Outlook). Once you have all contacts in a Outlook folder then
drag back in a new BCM database.

Export from the three databases to BCM files.

Create a new database. Import the three BCM files. The import wizard
asks you how to handle duplicates.
