Note container shading and/or visibility
Farr 6/7/2007 3:07:00 PM
I have searched around for the solution to this question, but I have come up
empty. Is it possible to either shade an entire note container or force the
note container decorations to always be visible?

I love onenote, but the one thing that I can't stand is that I can't tell by
just looking at the screen what text is in what note container, I don't want
to have to mouse over everything to tell how the text is separated.

If I could either shade the different note containers to give them
differentiation or force the container decoration to always be present it
would solve this problem. I know that I can highlight the text, but that is
messy since it only written text is highlighted.

Thank you!

There are no options like this in OneNote 2007. What you want is more like
what we did in OneNote 2003 but a lot of people didn't like that.

Thank you for the feedback

Ironically, I've seen several requests on this forum for options to format
note containers in ON2007 e.g. assign a background colour.

I'm also interested in seeing this as a feature.

As always all feature requests should be logged on our Connect site:
http://connect.microsoft.com/onenote/

Additionally we have heard this and it is on our list of misc improvements,
not sure what we can do and what we wouldn't be doing. But thank you for
letting us know!
