deleting fonts Della 12/26/2008 11:33:00 PM how can I delete fonts from the drop menu in Word; I've tried to delete fonts from the font file on the control menu but they won't delete.

You can go to Start > Control Panel > Fonts, right-click on a font name, and choose Uninstall. (I think this deletes the font from the Fonts folder entirely, so if you want to get it back some day, be sure to keep a copy somewhere else. When you want it back, right-click on the font name in your storage location and choose Install.) Wait .. I don't know what "font file" and "control menu" are -- are you perhaps on a Mac?
