This is just a personal opinion and doesn't directly answer your question...but if you can return NIS and get a refund, I would do it. Instead, get AVG Anti-Virus. It's free for personal use and does a great job (there are other free anti-virus programs, like Avast, that do a great job as well...I just happen to use AVG). NIS, in my opinion, is a resource hog, slows down your PC, and is prone to conflicts with other programs. I feel the same way about McAfee. They are just so bloated these days. They used to be great programs but now they try to do too much at one time and PC performance suffers as a result.
