Word 2007
Joe 12/4/2008 5:11:01 AM
Word has been working fine up until yesterday. Now, I can't get the cursor
to show on the document anywhere. The document is fine (tested on another
computer) and the mouse is working fine as the cursor works on Excel and
other programs. For some reason, I can't use the cursor to cut and paste.
When I close out the program, it says something to the effect that Microsoft
has identified a problem. That's all. I've inserted the disc supplied in an
effort to 'repair' it but no luck. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks.

Delete the Word Data Key. Probably corrupt because you left Word running
when an automatic update ran.

Word DataKey

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version number\Word\Data
