Deleting text Specnick 12/10/2008 12:58:01 AM SI used to be able to eliminate text by highlighting a word or group of words and then hitting delete. I read earlier response to this situation that said to highlight, then hit backspace. I made the setting adjustment they recommended and it worked. I'm not going crazy...how do I make it work by hitting "delete"? It always used to work. Specnick

With selected text, they should have the same effect. What are you seeing instead?
