Contact manager 2007 - problems installing and uninstalling?
Timm Sowders 3/16/2007 3:29:00 AM
Ok I have been trying to install the BCM 2007 now for the past week. When I
put the dvd in and click on setup it only gives me the option to repair or
uninstall BCM 2007? I haven't instaled it yet? So I have tried to repair and
uninstall it. Nothing. I would like to use BCM in conjunction with MS
accounting 2007 and groove 2007. Any suggestions would be appreciated. many
thanks in advance.

Hi Timm,

BCM and Office Accounting share the same installer for certian skus. So,
BCM might turely be installed. It is an addon to Outlook and unlike Office
account, there is no standalone BCM product. To run bcm, you just need to
open outlook and configure it to host bcm in your current profile.

If you didn't get the bcm configuration screen when you started outlook. You
can add bcm to your profile by going to the "Data file management" dialog.
File->Data File Management (or going to control panels->mail). On the "data
files" tab, click add, and select Business Contact Manager Database.
