Associating a journal folder with a contact folder

Hi,

In the properties of an Outlook contact folder, under the activities
tab, Outlook allows you to associate specific folders with the selected
contact folder. This list tells Outlook to search and display any
activity in these folders under the activity tab of contacts within the
contact folder.

I am wondering if there is a way to programmatically create these
associations. I would like to be able to programmatically create a
contact folder and a journal folder and make the association between
them such that any activity in the journal will show up under the
activity tab of contacts in the contact folder.

Thanks,

Ronnie

The mechanism for the activities groups is undocumented. You might be able to puzzle it out with Outlook Spy or MFCMAPI.exe.
