ExchEIM.dll error
"Logan" <claudialazar[ at ]logan.qld.gov.au> 5/30/2006 10:53:42 PM
Hi All,
In Microsoft Outlook, when selecting a large number of emails (around
200 or so) via Ctrl-A or shift, the following error comes up: "The
add-in "ExchEIM.dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may
be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu. Out of memory
or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again."

This becomes a problem if the number is very large. We have software
that integrates with Outlook, for example DOCS Open, IPFX for Outlook,
and Quest Archive manager. Disabling the ExchEIM (Docs integration with
Outlook) add-in, takes away the error, however this add-in is required
and used to work fine.
Has anyone experienced this error or knows of what may be causing it?
Thankyou

Kind regards,

Claudia

And what happens if you disable that client extension? Tools, Trust Center,
AddIns. Select Exchange client extensions and uncheck that one.

The add-ins present in Outlooks Add-in Manager are as follows:
-Deleted Item Recovery
-ExchINS.Module
-Exchange Scan
-Delegate Access
-TeamStatus Form
-Exchange Extensions commands
-Exchange Extensions property pages
-Redemption Helper Outlook Extension
I've tried disabling all the add-ins one by one on their own but the
error still occurs.

The two things that seem to take away the error is disabling the
ExchEIM.module or uninstalling IPFX. Maybe some sort of conflict
between the two?

Beats me, I don't know what either one is.
