Outlook 2007 Beta - Send/receive "not implemented"???
Patrik Jonsson 5/26/2006 11:17:02 AM
I have installed Office 2007 including Outlook which worked fine at first. I
received a few mails but now I can't use all functions in Outlook. If I press
send/receive I get an error message saying "not implemented". If I try to
change my account settings or create a new mail the same thing happens. I
have re-installed Office trying to fix the problem but it doesn't work.
I haven't uninstalled Office first, because it just doesn't work.

Any clues?

Microsofts diagnostic tool will fix it.

Hello Patrick,

I have the same problem. Have you found a solution, since May ? The
Diagnostics Tool didn't find anything for me.

WAit until tomorrow AM when the Beta 2 Technical Refresh will be released. It may fix your issue as it is a patch and not a new installation.

I ran into the same issue. Running Office 2007 with Exchange.

Ran the repair under add remove programs, Office 2007
did not work

Ran the diagnostic tool under the Microsoft Office - Microsoft Office Tools.

Read that there was a conflict.

Looked at the restore point it showed installation activity around the time the users son was playing on his laptop. For some reason he had Office 2003 as well. Removed outlook 2003 no affect.

Restored back to the restore point and all is back to normal.
Perhaps a reinstall could have done the trick if possible. -- fdeldredge ------------------------------------------------------------------------ fdeldredge's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/fdeldredge.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/office-setup/518740.htm http://forums.techarena.in
