Jerry 5/11/2006 3:16:02 PM Whats the quickest and safest way to transfer my data/pst files from my old Outlook2000 to a new install of Outlook2003 ? I've seen a post lately that said it might work by just installing the OL2003 and it will prompt you to transfer but it said it might not transfer all files ? Jerry

If yes, there is no "transfer" required as Outlook will use the previous version's settings. What's a IMO installation ? I've still just have OL2000 and haven't installed OL2003 yet as waiting to see what will work best. I have the disc for both Outlook's and I have a 230 contacts saved. I'd hate to type all of them in again ! Jerry

It should say either Corporate or Workgroup or Intenet Mail Only (IMO) If CW mode you should not have a problem. If IMO, you will need to add the Outlook Address Book service. I have backed up my contacts on disc on a pst file so how do I load them into the Outlook program on the other computer? They aren't networked.
